What to do first: choose one main task per day
Confirmed mechanicStory quests arrive by mail or the request board. Completing them raises Town Renown, opens areas, and advances town repair. Do not chase a perfect farm at the start: check mail, the map, and the request board, then choose one main job for the day—town task, farm, fishing, or mine progress.
Meet all 22 townsfolk first
“Greet the Townsfolk” asks you to talk to 22 villagers. The map marks people you have not met with a blinking display instead of their normal sprite, making it the clearest starting locator.
Complete the basic tool set on Days 1–2
The material records Celine’s Day One hoe and Hayden’s Day One watering can. Olric’s “Do a Bro a Favor” supplies the pickaxe, while Eiland gives the axe on Day Two.
Keep unfamiliar finds first
Requests, Museum donations, and mine offerings can all need items. When you first find an unfamiliar forageable, fish, mineral, or bug, check its use before selling it.
| Time or task | Character | Recorded result |
|---|---|---|
| Day One | Celine | Gifts the hoe |
| Day One | Hayden | Gifts the watering can |
| “Do a Bro a Favor” | Olric | Receive the Worn Pickaxe |
| Day Two | Eiland | Gifts the axe |
Early requests: condition, action, and recorded return
Confirmed mechanicThese early entries have a condition or return explicitly recorded in the supplied material. They do not all belong on the same day; match the materials you have to the day’s main job.
| Request or event | What to do | Recorded return or result |
|---|---|---|
| Friday at the Sleeping Dragon Inn | Talk to Reina after 6pm on Friday | Free Mixed Fruit Juice |
| Stinky Stamina Potion | Bring a Lilac to Juniper through the request board | Weather Crystal Ball and five free baths |
| Crafting Tutorial | Bring Ryis 10 Wood | Five wooden fence units |
| Jo’s Cooking Class | Meet Josephine at the Sleeping Dragon Inn | Vegetable Soup recipe |
| The Spring Festival | Attend on Spring 17 and collect Breath of Spring through normal activity | 50 Breaths can win first place |
The Mines are not a Day One obligation: the material says Eiland sends the “Reopening the Mines” letter on Day Six, and the Mines open after Mistria reaches Stone Rank—usually around Day 14 in the supplied guide.
Storage, stamina, and where to go next
Material adviceBackpack and crates
The supplied guide lists the General Store backpack expansion at 1,000 Tesserae; it doubles item slots and adds hotbar tab B. Make several storage crates once crafting is available.
Recover for the day
The pot behind the Sleeping Dragon Inn main room can be used once daily for a small health and stamina recovery. Bring simple cooked food when the Mine is the day’s main task.
Three Renown sources
Shipping goods, completing requests, and donating finds to the Museum all advance Town Renown. Do not sell a new discovery before checking it.
First mine goals: Floors 10, 20, and the offering
Confirmed mechanicAfter the Mines open, break rocks to find ladders; an elevator checkpoint appears every five floors. Replace “how deep can I go?” with “what does the next checkpoint need?”: Floor 10 gives a recovery spell, and Floor 20 asks for the Water Tablet offering.
Every 5 floors
The source records an elevator checkpoint every five floors. Stabilize the next checkpoint before planning a longer push.
Floor 10
After reaching it, return home and sleep to receive Full Restore, the first spell. It is a clear early mine target.
Floor 20
The Water Tablet blocks the next route. Completing its offering opens Tide Caverns and grants Summon Rain, which waters all crops.
| Item to keep | Recorded location |
|---|---|
| Stone Loach | Available in the first 20 floors |
| Upper Mines Mushroom | Available in the first 20 floors |
| Ruby | Available in the first 20 floors |
| Lantern Moth | Available in the first 20 floors |
